7. Duration and Termination

8. Law in Force and Jurisdiction

9. Dispute Settlement Mechanisms:

In case of any difference of opinion over this contract, the parties should first attempt to direct settlement, and if this is not possible, the parties shall go to alternative mechanisms for dispute settlement regulated by law, such as transaction and amiable composition, if within five (5) days to the emergence of the dispute, the parties do not reach an agreement around the dispute settlement mechanism to use, the dispute will be resolved through conciliation. 

10. Arbitration Clause: Any dispute, conflict or breach arising between the parties on the occasion of the signature, execution, termination or liquidation of this contract, which cannot be settled through the out-of-court dispute settlement mechanisms which were referred to in the preceding clause, shall be subject to the decision of an Arbitration Court, which shall be subject to the existing rules on the matter and shall be particularly governed by the following rules:  a) The Court shall consist of one arbitrator appointed by agreement between the parties, and if this is not possible, appointment is delegated to the Director of the Center for Corporate Conciliation and Arbitration of the Superintendency of Corporations - Bogotá Office, to designate the arbitrator under the rules of the Center for Corporate Conciliation and Arbitration of the Superintendency of Corporations - Bogotá Office. b) The arbitrator must be a Colombian lawyer, registered in the rosters of the Center for Corporate Conciliation and Arbitration of the Superintendency of Corporations - Bogotá Office. c) The internal organization of the Court that has not been regulated in this clause, shall be subject to the rules provided for said purpose by the Center for Corporate Conciliation and Arbitration of the Superintendency of Corporations - Bogotá Office. d) The Court shall operate in the city of Bogota in the Center for Corporate Conciliation and Arbitration of the Superintendency of Corporations. e) The Court shall decide according to the law and its ruling will have res judicata effects of last resort and therefore shall be final and binding for the parties. f) The costs of the Court convening shall be borne by the losing party. 26) MODIFICATIONS: All modifications made to this contract shall be in writing signed by the contracting parties

 

11. Notices

All notices and communications between the User and the Chamber of Commerce of Bogota and the Permanent Secretariat of the World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates are deemed effective for all purposes, when conducted via mail or email.
