Leading by example
The Permanent Secretariat of the World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates promotes the actions by youths in the construction of peace in an interconnected world.
In support of this, a series of academic workshops are held during the Summit, aimed at university students and professionals, allowing them to approach the peace laureates and to learn from their experiences.
The program dubbed "Leading by Example" will allow close to 600 students from over 25 countries to meet to showcase their projects, providing them with a networking opportunity and facilitating the generation of collaboration strategies in projects that may impact local and global communities alike.
In order to prepare them for the academic sessions, participating students will receive the book "Being Nobel", which summarizes the brave stories and histories of Nobel Peace Laureates who have helped transform our world, along with iconic photographs of the laureates.
